Activate Team volunteer meetup was held on the 25th of August 2019 at Arcade Independence Square.
15 volunteers participated for this meetup to share their thoughts and ideas, meet other volunteers and discuss the future plans of the Activate team. Narthana Jananjaya has been appointed as a team lead of the Activate team. 
Volunteers took the responsibility of making new teams under the WebVR, Rust, Web Extension and organizing Tech Talk meetups. After that we planned to organize some events by targeting Software Freedom Day and planned to do university and local events also. After the meetup, we had some great coffee and snacks.
